Robbie Stewart is a fourth-year PhD student in NSE researching the cost and construction challenges and opportunities of advanced reactors. He builds detailed techno-economic models of advanced reactor concepts including overnight costs, construction scheduling, and cost overrun probabilities. Concurrent with his doctoral research, he co-founded Boston Atomics, a nuclear power startup aiming to solve the construction challenge in the nuclear industry.
